Cliffs overlooking the sea, natural parks, archaeological remains and much more characterize the Riviera of Ulysses, a land rich in history, mythology and nature.
These lands are mentioned in the Odyssey, the Aeneid and the Divine Comedy.
It has been said that Ulysses met the sorceress Circe here, that Aeneas stopped here during his journey and Dante himself speaks of the city of Gaeta in the Divine Comedy.
The Riviera offers an itinerary through towns, heirs of ancient cities which originated along the via Appia and the via Francigena such as Terracina, Fondi, Sperlonga, Gaeta, Sperlonga, Formia and Minturno. Testimony to such rich history are the Temple of Jupiter Anxur; the Roman Theaters of Terracina and Minturno; the Villa of Mamurra in Gianola; the National Archaeological Museum of Sperlonga built near the Villa and the Cave of Emperor Tiberius; the Tomb of Cicero and moving forward in history the Caetani Castle in Fondi; the Angevin Castle in Gaeta and much more.
From a naturalistic point of view, the presence of the sea and mountains creates unique scenarios, one of which is the Montagna Spaccata in Gaeta.
The territory also stands out for its rich food and wine tradition which will be made available to taste through the collaboration with local businesses.
The Festival represents a unique opportunity to discover this incredible territory while attending events with the excellence of national and international classical music.
