Formia, Parco di Gianola
Julian Kainrath
The archaeological complex known as Villa di Mamurra is a large maritime villa from the Roman era, whose remains are still visible on a promontory within the Riviera di Ulisse Regional Park.
The complex includes structures of great beauty and interest: imposing cisterns for water collection, a fish farming system (the area of the so-called Roman Port), an octagonal building, a thermal area overlooking the sea and coastal caves. The walk, suggestive for the sea view and the grandeur of the archaeological remains, will be enriched by a solo violin concert by violinist Julian Kainrath.
